Onsite Test Trail at MAO

Open to the public for $10/day, but you must sign a waiver in our office before driving on the trails.

Beasley Knob
A challenging OHV area in North Georgia featuring steep climbs, tight ridge-line trails, and rocky technical sections. Ideal for experienced drivers and well-equipped rigs, especially after rain when the terrain becomes noticeably tougher.


Carolina Crawlers
A dedicated off-road park known for rock gardens, obstacle courses, and purpose-built crawling lines. Great for drivers who want to test suspension travel, traction, and spotter skills in a controlled environment.


Coalmont
Located in Tennessee, Coalmont offers a mix of wooded trails, mud holes, rolling terrain, and scenic ridge views. The park’s variety makes it accessible for both casual weekend wheelers and more serious off-roaders.


Windrock
One of the largest OHV parks in the Southeast, with hundreds of miles of trails ranging from mild gravel paths to extreme rock climbs. Windrock delivers everything—mountain overlooks, mud, technical sections, and adventure for any skill level.


AOP (Adventure Offroad Park)
A favorite for rock crawlers and big-tire rigs, AOP features steep climbs, boulder fields, and heavily technical trails. It also hosts off-road events and competitions, making it a hotspot for hardcore wheeling.

Iron Mountain Resort

Charlies Creek
A classic North Georgia FSR route known for multiple water crossings, rocky sections, and steady elevation changes. Great for mid-level off-roaders wanting a scenic but engaging backcountry drive. Conditions vary with rainfall, making it more challenging after storms.


Bell Mountain
A short, steep, paved ascent leads to one of the most dramatic overlooks in Georgia. While not an off-road challenge, the drive is popular for photography, sunset viewing, and taking newcomers to an unforgettable mountain-top vantage point.


Springer Mountain
A gateway to the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail, reached by winding gravel forest roads. The access route offers an easy, scenic drive with occasional washouts or potholes—perfect for light off-roading and nature-focused exploring.


Cohutta Area
A huge network of forest service roads weaving through remote wilderness. Expect long gravel stretches, creek crossings, dispersed camping spots, and sweeping mountain views. Terrain is typically mild to moderate but becomes more demanding in wet weather.


Trey Mountain
A legendary Georgia challenge featuring steep climbs, deep ruts, tight switchbacks, and rugged ridge-line paths. Best suited for experienced drivers with capable rigs. Rewards include some of the region’s best secluded forest views.
